Urban Rehabilitation Up by 7.2%

Order books rose by 7% in June, while contracted production reached a high of 9.3 months.

The figures were reported in AICCOPN’s Urban Rehabilitation Barometer, highlighting increases in the activity in the sector.

According to AICCOPN’s monthly survey of executives in the Urban Rehabilitation sector, the index tracking activity levels rose by 7.2% y-o-y, largely unchanged from the month before.

The index covering Order Books measures executives’ views of expected work volumes rose by 7% last month versus 3.5% in May. The increases reflect, to a large extent, a base effect resulting from the declines seen during the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Contracted production, i.e. the amount of guaranteed work time based on order books and a normal pace of production, reached 9.3 months.
