New Luxury Ombria Resort in the Algarve to Open in 2022

22 December 2020 – The luxury chain Viceroy Hotels and Resort is building its first hotel in Portugal, at an enviable location, north of Loulé. The Ombria Resort is under development following the highest levels of international sustainability. The project will include a 76-room hotel and flats, several detached or semi-detached villas, an 18-hole golf course with GEO Foundation certification, 24-hour security, a concierge service, several gourmet restaurants, a spa, swimming pools, a fitness centre, among other facilities.

Viceroy Hotels and Resorts intends to inaugurate the new 5-star Viceroy at Ombria Resort in early 2022.  The Viceroy Residences will consist of one-and-two bedroom apartment with prices ranging from 368.050 to 900.000 euros.

The 12 Alcedo Villas will also permit the option of year-round residence in four-to-seven bedroom detached single-family villas, with private pools. Prices for these homes run from 2.5 to 4 million euros.

The Pontos Group plans to invest a total of €260 million in the Ombria Resort over three phases until 2030. When completed, the resort will consist of 380 properties.
