Indian Group Sugee to Invest €150-Million in Portugal

9 December 2020With two projects already under development in Lisbon, the first major group from India to invest in Portugal, the Sugee group has arrived on the country’s real estate market. In the coming years, the group, which began operations in Portugal in March 2019, intends to invest 150 million euros in the Portuguese real estate sector.

The projects already underway include the rehabilitation of a building on the Príncipe Real, called Royal 20, and which dates to the 19th century. The development is scheduled for completion in February 2021, targeting golden visa investors. A second residential and family project, called Alcântara Vista and squarely aimed at local buyers, will be built from the ground up in early 2021. The total investment in both projects is expected to reach 6.5 million euros.
