11 November 2020 – The Fortera group will invest 10 million euros in developing a new luxury condominium in the historic centre of Braga, as it refurbishes the 16th-century Convento do Carmo.
The convent, which dates to 1564, will be fully renovated and converted into a new 70-flat development, including a bar, restaurant, swimming pool, gym, lounge and outdoor spaces.
Speaking of the Fortera Group’s first project in Braga, Elad Dror, the CEO of the Israel-based group, stated that “the place has already served as a convent, military hospital, college and leisure and recreation facility, and we will preserve the magic of the site.”
Completion is scheduled for 2023 and work should start as early as next year.
