6 November 2020 – The Ageas Portugal Group announced the sale of the Rialto building in downtown Porto to an unnamed buyer for an undisclosed amount.
Considered Porto’s first skyscraper, the 8-floor building was built in 1944, is located in the historic centre of the city of Porto and housed one of the most iconic cafes in the city: Café Rialto.
Grupo Ageas Portugal’s investment strategy in the real estate sector focuses on two primary sectors: offices and operational real estate. With an area of approximately 4,700 m2, it is Ageas Portugal’s first major sale.
